"Achieving any desire, whether large or small, begins with a seed sown in the mind. That seed is the vision of its fulfillment. It also requires the commitment to allow the vision to grow--the faith in God to do His part through storm, rain, and sunshine.
A seed sown must be nourished with faith and belief. When you hold a picture of the final creation in your mind, you hold and maintain faith. You honor God's desire to create something wonderful, and you honor His choice of your hands to help do the job." Steve Brunkhorst

Members of our organization ran this year's Las Vegas Marathon on December 10th.

It was a biting 50 degrees with fierce winds whirling through each runner. At one point in the race there was even a little rain. Jay said " The rain was there to cool us off beacause he was on fire."
The results were staggering. All three of our members achieved their goal. Jay Koski -- It was his 3rd marathon and the 26.2 never seemed longer. After severe leg cramping at mile 19 he still pushed on, determined to complete the 26.2 miles for Jeanette. Karen Franssen walked for 3 hours and 32 minutes to complete the 13.1 mile walk. Robert Butcher completed his 1st and last marathon with a grueling time of 5 hours 12 minutes.
The best quote of the day was seen on the back of a stocky 5'4" runner about 45-49 years of age. It read: " The pain is nothing compared to the emptiness you will feel if you quit!
Congratulations guys and gals! Soy a Seed, Inc. thanks you all for your determination and divine efforts.
