Get the Precision and Accuracy You Need with a Centering Tube!

The use of a Centering Tube (AKA Template Tube Adapter) in your stud welding process ensures accurate placement of the stud and precise alignment with the welding surface which is crucial for achieving a strong and consistent weld.

The Centering Tube helps stabilize the stud during the stud welding process, preventing it from moving or tilting. These functions are essential for achieving high-quality welds, especially in applications where precision and reliability are critical.

To use the Centering Tube or Template Tube Adapter in your stud welding process, you would create a template designed for your specific part.  Your template would have 30MM or 1″ holes marking the location where you want your weld stud to be placed (other sizes available). Most customers use a non-conductive high temp plastic or phenolic for their template.

Our customers have reported that with the right template design and the Centering Tube they were able to achieve .008 location accuracy with each weld stud.

PN: 80-40-513 with a 30MM Outside Diameter

 

 

 

For Pro-weld model welders use:

PN:  039-839 with a 1″ Outside Diameter

or

PN:  039-840 with a 1-1/4″ Outside Diameter

 

For IWT model welders use:

PN:  1-IW004163 with a 1-1/4″ Outside Diameter
