Annular Navy Hanger

Annular Navy Hangers are secured with adhesive specially formulated to bond to metal, masonry and other sound substrates. Surfaces must be clean and dry before adhesive is applied. Some protective coatings are not compatible with adhesives and it is recommended that the user make test bonds before proceeding with the application.

Material: Steel and Aluminum

A special Mushroom style Drive-On cap (sold separately) is used with these hangers, to secure the insulation.

Annular Navy Hanger

An Annular Navy Hanger is a specialized type of hanger featuring a stud with annular rings designed to securely hold insulation materials by impaling the insulation onto the stud and then securing it with a special mushroom cap (sold separately).

Arc Stud Welding

A process called arc stud welding allows a metal fastener to be welded to a parent metal through a fusion weld. A “ferrule” captures and retains the weld’s heat. The process creates molten metal that cools the weld site. The weld produced is stronger than the stud itself. Welders can use drawn arc stud welding with dissimilar metals such as mild and stainless steel, as well as aluminum.
